Man of the moment Timothee Chalamet never hid his admiration for hip-hop artist Frank Ocean. So when the musician interviewed him, the conversation turned out rather adorable.

Chalamet has been nominated for his role as Elio in Luca Guadagnino’s movie Call Me By Your Name. He is also part of another Oscar-nominated movie Lady Bird, directed by Greta Gerwig. The chap was interviewed by Ocean for VMan.

While admiring Chalamet's work in Call Me By Your Name, Ocean said, "It’s a really special role and an opportune, appropriate time right now in popular culture. I think it’s also good for you that this is your opening song. It’s such a proper foundation, to do roles like these that have so much heart and vulnerability in the very beginning, completely boutique or small, but on the lips of so many."

The duo also discussed Chalamet's early rapping attempts under the name of Timmy T.  They also exchanged notes on must-visit eating spots to check out in Big Apple and Los Angeles.

The discussion took a turn towards the aspects of creativity and its meaning for the artists.

Thanking the musician Chalamet said, "It’s been such an experience, sharing personal thoughts about artistry and acting with someone that’s influenced me in many ways."

Chalamet will be next seen in Woody Allen's movie A Rainy Day in New York alongside Selena Gomez.
