'The Square' trailer: Ruben Ostlund's film presents a satire on several aspects of urban lifestyle, watch video

The Trailer of Oscar-nominated Film ’The Square’ has been unveiled in India on Saturday. Starring actors Claes Bang, Dominic West, Elizabeth Moss and Terry Notary, the movie directed by the award-winning Swedish film-maker Ruben Ostlund is a funny satire featuring darkly-funny aspects of an urban lifestyle. 

As the trailer unfolds, Christian, played by actor Claes Bang is seen delivering a monologue talking about the exhibition that he has installed at the Stockholm museum. The speech in the background is followed by different scenes of people moving across the screen with a disorganized mind-set establishing a sense of delusion and havoc.

To our surprise, Christian is visited by a Chimpanzee while he is sitting in his room. The entire trailer shows a glimpse of the chaos that creeps into Christian’s life because of the installation project and the circumstances that are uncalled for like; robbery, misunderstanding, mistrust, complicated relationships, self-realization, etc. to name a few. 

The Square is directed by Swedish film-maker Ruben Ostlund. The movie stars Claes Bang, Dominic West, Elizabeth Moss and Terry Notary and is slated to release on March 16, 2018 in select theatres in Mumbai.
