Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who announced their engagement on Monday,  will marry at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, England, in May 2018. It is still unsure what the new couple’s royal title will be, with most speculating that they will be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. While there has been much speculation about what changes the TV actress will make post marriage, here’s what is confirmed so far.

GIVING UP HER TV ROLE

Meghan, who’s known for her role of Rachel Zane, a savvy paralegal-turned-lawyer, on the TV show Suits will be quitting the show. USA Network has confirmed that the American actress, who has been a regular since the first season, will leave after the show’s seventh season. Rumours had been abound that she would leave once her relationship with Prince Harry became public.

UK CITIZENSHIP

Aside from relocating to the UK, Meghan intends to become a UK citizen. The British royal family announced the news recently. It’s still not certain if Markle will retain her American citizenship after she becomes a British citizen.

MEGHAN WILL BE BAPTISED AND CONFIRMED

Prior to her wedding to Prince Harry, the actress will be baptised and confirmed in the Church of England. Markle identifies herself as a Protestant and in doing so will please Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
