The 27-year old actress sported a Time’s Up tattoo at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar party

After shooting to fame as a child star playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise, Emma Watson has worked extensively as an advocate to protect women’s rights.
The 27-year old actress graced the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar party hosted by Radhika Jones on March 4 in Beverly but what caught everyone’s attention was the Time’s Up tattoo inked on her forearm. Wearing a classic black gown and donning a new fringe haircut, Emma has been quite vocal about her support to the Time’s Up movement and her tattoo was perhaps a tribute to the movement, which seeks to end sexual harassment in Hollywood.
But sadly, her message was overshadowed by an error and netizens promptly started to troll her for the missing apostrophe in “Times”. Emma's tattoo rendered the phrase grammatically incorrect as the movement is called “Time’s Up,” not “Times Up”.
Normally a massive fan of Emma Watson, but not sure about how I feel about that fringe - and that ‘tattoo’. pic.twitter.com/LRkIHorrbv

Ok ok I’m a big big fan of @EmmaWatson but I can’t be the only one who thinks the #TimesUp tattoo is really tacky Nasty font, awkward placement and missing apostrophe. IMO it cheapens her whole stance on the movement.

Emma Watson got a “Time’s Up” tattoo but it’s missing the apostrophe. I sooooo thought she was better than that. #oscars

Responding to the trolls, Emma too took to Twitter and had a good laugh by creating a job opportunity for a tattoo proofreader. She wrote, "Fake tattoo proofreading position available. Experience with apostrophes a must."

The Time’s Up movement was born in response to the #MeToo campaign that came from the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment epidemic and was supported by hundreds of leading women in Hollywood. Last month, Emma too donated a million dollars to the Time’s Up legal defense fund for men and women who claim to be victims of workplace misconduct.
