As a Thanksgiving present, writer/producer Colin Trevorrow gifted first footage from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

The footage shows Chris Pratt's Owen Grady - the Raptor whisperer - playing with tiny hatchlings. The purrs and giggles feel real as they get. The dark patches on the back of baby Raptor resemble the ones on the back of Owen's favourite Raptor, Blue. Is this Blue's baby? (no pun intended) We will know for sure when the movie releases.

Here' what we have from the movie so far -

A mysterious first look

Director JA Bayona had shared the first look of the movie in March this year. It showed a small girl in a staring contest with a Triceratops skull. What looked like a museum is filled with various skeletons of the now extinct species.

No details about the child actor, including her role in the movie, were revealed at the time.

First poster and title reveal

In June this year, the official Twitter handle of Jurassic World unveiled the title with a dark poster.

Trevorrow has promised that the sequel will be more suspenseful and scary. "It's just the way it's designed; it's the way the story plays out. I knew I wanted Bayona to direct it long before anyone ever heard that was a possibility, so the whole thing was just built around his skill set," he said.

Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and BD Wong are returning to reprise their roles. They are joined by James Cromwell, Toby Jones, Geraldine Chaplin, Rafe Spall, and Ted Levine.

Best of all, Jeff Goldblum, who played the fantastic Dr Ian Malcolm is returning too!

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is scheduled to release June 22, 2018
