You won't believe what's the collective budget of 'Baahubali: The Beginning' and 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'!

Finally! The much awaited film of the year, Baahubali: The Conclusion is set to be released next month and we all got a sneak peek into the wold of the sequel through the Baahubali 2 trailer which was unveiled by the makers today. 

Right from the release of the first instalment, Baahubali: The Conclusion, the VFX, sets, costumes etc have been larger than life and magnificent in the truest sense of the word. And it gets bigger and better in Baahubali 2. 

But did you know how much the makers have to shell out for the magnum opus to achieve brilliance of this kind? During an interaction with the media at the trailer launch event of the film in Mumbai today, the producer of Baahubali ​Shobu Yarlagadda, revealed the whopping amount that was spent into the making of the two films collectively. He said, "The budget of both the parts together is Rs 400+ crore, in the range of Rs 450 crore.”

Furthermore, he added that, "The first part didn’t make any money. That’s what I can tell you. With the second one, we will make a lot of money, which will compensate what we didn’t make with the first part."
