Yaaron Ki Baraat: Akshay Kumar follows SRK, does a pole dance on show

The grand finale of Zee TV’s Yaaron Ki Baraat on Sunday features Akshay Kumar and his chaddi buddy, producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who have been friends since childhood. The duo spoke about their 37-year-old friendship, their respective biwis and spilled secrets about each other on the show.

Host Sajid Khan says, “The grand finale of my show couldn’t have been better — both Sajid and Akshay are like elder brothers to me and having them as guests was a no-brainer.”

The duo made a splashy entry on a quad bike with Sajid at the wheel and Akshay riding pillion. 

They played several games and Nadiad went on to beat Akshay at the miming and guessing game — Baaton Baaton Mein and as punishment was asked to display his pole-dancing skills to his own raunchy number, Maang Meri Bharo, something Akshay aced and thereafter indulged fans by striking poses with them.

Nadiad regaled the host and the audience by noting that AK makes for a great friend but a terrible neighbour. “Who wants a neighbour who goes jogging at 5 am and invites us for breakfast by 7 am? We are a household that wakes up by 10 am! It was quite a task, in fact working on Mujhse Shaadi Karogi with Akshay who woke up at 5 am and Salman who kept us up all night and slept only at 5 am!”

The Grand Finale episode is at 8 pm on Sunday, December 11, only on Zee TV.
