B-Town actors have fans all across the globe. In the recent past, Hindi movies are even being watched in non-traditional markets. For example, PK bagged big numbers in China, which was an untapped territory. No wonder then, filmmakers are keen to get a global feel to their movies. Also, some destinations have been over-used and directors now want to shoot at places that will make their frames stand out. While many movies like Meri Pyaari Bindu, Toilet Ek Prem Katha and Bareilly Ki Barfi are being shot on home turfs, there are many that will have you travelling across the globe. From Budapest and Prague to Morocco and Miami, the next eight months will bring various places from different parts of the world on the big screen. Here’s what you should watch out for.

Tiger Zinda Hai
Austria

Known as the Golden Roof, Tyrol is a huge favourite with Hollywood productions. The town gets it name from sun rays shining on the rooftops of homes. The destination is a western Austrian state in the Alps, known for its ski resorts, historic sites and folk traditions. The TZH team chose this destination for its first schedule that was wrapped in the snow-clad mountains with the shoot of a song.

Rahnuma
Czech Republic

Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan saw him travelling to Dubrovnik in Croatia, and this time around it will be Prague in the Czech Republic, that he will introduce to his fans back home. Imtiaz Ali, who last put Corsica on many people’s travel wish-list after he shot Tamasha in the French village, will now train his lens on this beautiful town. And considering the fact that Shah Rukh plays a tourist guide, we will definitely get to see more than a few spots.

Mubarakan
United Kingdom

Most Bollywood actors love London, some even call it their second home. No wonder then, many films have been shot at the various locales in the Brit capital. Mubarakan too heads to London, but instead of the usual places, it will make its way to Sikh-dominated areas like Kent and Surrey. The movie will see Anil Kapoor and nephew Arjun Kapoor explore the countryside.

Reload
USA and Thailand

Last year, the shoot of the Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez movie was carried out in picturesque Miami, Florida, USA. After the first schedule, the movie was to be shot in Malaysia. But for reasons best known to the producers the location was then moved to Thailand. Audiences will now get to see the two actors romancing and fighting the bad guys at exotic locations in these two destinations.

Jagga Jasoos
Morocco

Morocco is a huge market for Indian films. And while our movies are hugely popular, it’s Shah Rukh Khan, who rules the hearts of the people here. The team of Jagga Jasoos shot in the streets and markets of Marrakech and even found time to gorge on the food. This is one location that hasn’t been explored in Hindi movies and it will be interesting to see how Anurag Basu presents it to the audience at home.

Raabta
Hungary and Mauritius

Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon made Budapest, Hungary their home for almost two-and-a-half months for the shoot of the movie. The two will be seen romancing across the beautiful city. From the hustle-bustle of a city to the exotic island of Mauritius, the movie that’s set in two eras will make for interesting viewing.
