WATCH: New clip from 'Logan' shows Wolverine living like never before

In a new clip from the upcoming Logan movie, called 'Sunseeker,' the world gets a glimpse of Wolverine in hiding and living a hollow life.

The black and white clip was released late Thursday night (IST). It shows Hugh Jackman as Wolverine driving a limousine for drunken bachelorette and bachelor parties around town listening to a voicemail in the background.

The voicemail is by James Howlett. It is safe to presume that Logan now goes by this name in a town on the Mexican border. The footage also shows the clip of a Spanish newspaper with a picture of a yacht labelled 'Sunseeker'. Logan seems to be interested in buying this yacht and doesn't mind if it needs some work done. This is something he intends to give as 'a retirement gift' to his 'dad.'

Is this Logan looking for an escape route on the high seas? And does he mean ailing Professor Xavier when he talks about his 'dad'?

We will have to wait for March 3 to find out more.

What we know about James Mangold 's Logan so far is that the movie will be the last for Jackman as Wolverine. Its storyline is based on the comic book series Old Man Logan. In the movie, Logan is taking care of Professor X, played by Sir Patrick Stewart. He meets a girl Laura (X-23), played by Dafne Keen, who is wanted by an organisation hell bent on weaponising mutants. Boyd Holbrook's Pierce and his militarised Reavers are hunting her down on the orders of Richard E Grant's villainous Dr. Zander Rice. Wolverine and the Professor will get help from Stephen Merchant's albino mutant Caliban as they try to handle the situation.

The movie is R-rated, something the X-Men universe and Fox stopped worrying about after their Deadpool movie did wonders at the box office. It carved the path for superhero movies made for a grown-up audience.
