WATCH: Amandla Stenberg, Nick Robinson star in first trailer for YA novel adaptation of 'Everything, everything'

A sweet new trailer for Everything, Everything, a movie based on the eponymous YA novel written by Nicola Yoon, has been released. The film stars Amandla Stenberg of The Hunger Games as Madeline, a hermetic illness-struck 18-year-old, who apparently needs to be inside her house all the time for her safety and health.

But the teenage girl's world changes when she meets boy-next-door Olly. Played by Jurassic World alumni Nick Robinson, Olly thinks Maddy is beautiful and a relationship starts blooming via texts and writing notes on window panes. Olly enters Maddy's house and she realises that she is done living in the bubble her mother has built.

"Dear Mom, I know staying in this house keeps me alive, but this isn’t living," says Maddy as she leaves with Olly to see how the ocean for the first time.

Touted as the Fault in Our Stars of 2017, the movie is directed by Stella Meghie and will hit the screens on May 19.
