Varun Dhawan and John Abraham's 'Dishoom' tops TRP list

Dishoom, the action packed film starring Varun Dhawan and John Abraham in the lead roles, has topped the list of films that have done well in Television Rating Points for world premieres, according to the Broadcast Audience Research Council India.

As a result, Varun has been approached for a big satellite deal for his upcoming releases. An insider says, " One of the top GECs (General Entertainment Channel) has come up with a lucrative offer for Varun's films, but nothing has been finalised yet. If the deal works out it will include Judwaa 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and other films.

Other B-town stars who have signed such deals include Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan. The insider adds, "It's not just about Dishoom topping the charts. It's also the fact that he is very popular amongst audiences, especially kids."
