UNICEF supporter Kareena Kapoor spends Eid at school in Jalna

A leading tabloid recently reported that Kareena Kapoor Khan who is a UNICEF supporter visited a government school in Jalna to promote education for the girl child. Not celebrating Eid this year with hubby Saif Ali Khan who was in London, she spent the day at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya an NGO in Maharashtra. 

Talking about her experience at the school she told the tabloid that the girls she met were very bright and attentive. Considering the fact that most girls in India do not get accessibility to education post the eighth grade, she hopes to work hand in hand with UNICEF and make sure these girls receive the education they rightly deserve.
