Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is busy working on his upcoming film Mirziya. However, he made a quick dash to Hyderabad for the FICCI Media and Entertainment Conclave held to coincide with IIFA Utsavam. Mehra, the Chairman, FICCI Film Forum, says IIFA honouring the South film industries for the first time was a huge leap. “I think it’s about time, but better late than never. We need to integrate entertainment in India,” he says.
The director says that he has finished shooting for Mirziya and it’s up for release. “I am writing right now and there are three stories I have. One is Raja And The Legend Of The Flute, another is Casual Kamasutra and the third is My Dear Prime Minister. So it’ll be one of them,” he adds about his next project. Which South Indian actor would he like to work with? Mehra quickly replies, “All of them are great and I have great friends here, but the script will have to dictate that. But I do admire Dhanush. He’s such an inspiration and a world talent. The world should be working with him.”
