'The Hunger Games, 'One Direction' win at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 was awarded as kids Favorite Movie at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2015 and its stars Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence were honoured for their action filled acting in the movie.

The 28th Annual Kids' Choice Awards gave away Favorite Movie Actress award to Emma Stone for The Amazing Spider-Man and Ben Stiller for the Night at the Museum, whereas Angelina Jolie nabbed the Favorite Villain award for her outstanding performance in Maleficent, Us Magazine reported.

On the other hand, Modern Family ruled on the Favorite Family TV Show award and Austin & Ally stood first among the Favorite TV Shows, and their stars Laura Marano and Ross Lynch were awarded for their best TV acting, and Big Hero 6 was kids Favorite Animated Movie.

Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez were honored with the Favorite Male Singer and the Favorite Female Singer award respectively, whereas One Direction was kids Favorite Music Group and Fifth Harmony was their Favorite New Music Artist.

The American TV series, Dance Moms received the Favorite Reality Show award, whereas the music show, The Voice got the award for Favorite Talent Competition Show.

SpongeBob SquarePants was awarded the Favorite Cartoon award, video game 'Minecraft' received the awards for the Most Addicting Game, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid series was kids' Favorite Book.

The kids' award show was held in LA on Saturday, March 28.
