Sikandar Kher says: Jaao Juhu beach saaf karo!

Sikandar Kher can’t bear to see his beloved Juhu beach in the state it is in now. He tells us as he can no longer run on it. He says, “I have lived in Juhu my whole life. This is my beach and I know it like the back of my hand. Unfortunately, it’s overcrowded now. I get it’s a public space. But why litter it? Moreover, the absence of toilets in the vicinity means people perform their morning and evening ablutions on the beach. I like running outdoors, but now I run in the lanes of JVPD as the beach is so dirty. I have no choice. We should clean our coast and the sea. I am a beach person and I would love to take out time and do something to spread awareness and clean the beach up, but it’s not a one-way street as citizens and the authorities have to walk hand in hand on this.”
