Shraddha Kapoor’s reading 'Elia Kazan: A Life'

Shraddha Kapoor is doing some serious reading these days. When she gets time, the actress leafs through Elia Kazan: A Life, the autobiography of the American director, producer, writer, and actor. It’s a book recommended by her ex-beau Aditya Roy Kapur, an avid book lover.

Says a source, “While Shraddha loves reading all kinds of stuff and picks up books whenever she’s traveling, Elia Kazan: A Life is the first autobiography she picked up, as it was recommended by Aditya when they were shooting for OK Jaanu. She likes to ask Aditya what books to read sometimes as he has eclectic tastes. She finds the book fascinating as it delves into the life of Elia Kazan who is considered by many to be one of the most honoured and influential directors on Broadway and in Hollywood history.”

Shraddha says, “Aditya told me he found the book extremely inspiring, hence I decided to get myself a copy. I haven’t finished reading it yet. In fact, I haven’t even reached halfway through because I haven’t had the time to read the entire book as I have been busy with my shoots and show rehearsals.”

She adds, “I love reading all kinds of books. I haven’t read many memoirs, though. Elia Kazan: A Life is the first one and I have liked what I read so far.”
