Sharad Kelkar to be Vin Diesel's voice in the Hindi version of 'xXx: Return of Xander Cage'

Popular television actor Sharad Kelkar is also an established voice over and dubbing artist. He will soon be recording for the Hindi version of Hollywood star Vin Diesel's upcoming thriller xXx: Return of Xander Cage, which also marks the Hollywood debut of Deepika Padukone. 

According to reports that are doing the rounds, Sharad was recently seen making tremendous efforts to match the texture of Vin diesel's voice. As the Times of India.com, Sharad calls his experience 'method dubbing' and explains it thus, "I have dubbed for Vin for the first time. He has a gruff and slightly rough voice. Since my voice is clear and deep, I had to put in a lot of effort to emulate his voice. Also, he doesn't move his lips much, so creating the correct tone wasn't easy. I tapped into the mood of his character and enacted the scenes in the dubbing studio. This is what I call 'method dubbing."

Previously, he had also recorded for SS Rajamouli's Baahubali and lent his voice to characters in Hindi dubbed versions of films like X-Men: Apocalypse, Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and Guardians Of The Galaxy.
