#SaveAarey: Bollywood and TV celebrities voice support for the cause

With the growing industrialisation in Mumbai, the environment is getting affected in adverse ways. And at a time, when everyone's fighting to save the Aarey colony, Metro authorities have demanded for more land.

According to reports, "The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has now made a new demand for four acres of prime green land adjacent to the Western Express Highway, where the agency wants to set up its Metro Bhavan.​"

Now this has become a raging point of argument and discussion among citizens. Voicing their support for the cause, Bollywood and TV celebrities have come out and put up statues and videos on social media. 

From Farhan Akhtar, Rannvijay Singh Singha and Riteish Deshmukh to Meiyang Chang, Karanvir Bohra and Dia Mirza, celebrities have expressed their concern over the issue. Here's what they said -
