Actor Dhafer L'Abidine, best known for his roles in "Sex and the City 2" and "A Hologram for the King", has been tapped to appear in Hulu's upcoming adaptation of "The Looming Tower".

The 44-year-old star has joined Tahar Rahim, Jeff Daniels and Alec Baldwin in the 9/11 drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Based on Lawrence Wright's book, the series chronicles the rising threat of Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida, taking a controversial look at how the rivalry between the CIA and FBI may have inadvertently set the stage for the tragedy of 9/11 and the war in Iraq.

The 10-episode adaptation has come from writer Dan Futterman, who is also an executive producer on the show along with Alex Gibney and Wright.
