Is Sara Ali Khan OUT of the run for 'Thugs of Hindostan' because of Aditya Chopra?

Sara Ali Khan is one star kid who has been capturing everyone's eyes the past few weeks due to speculations of her being launched in Bollywood soon. The daughter of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan was apparently supposed to debut with Hrithik Roshan, but after that got scrapped, she was nearly selected for Student of the Year 2 opposite Tiger Shroff. But since that isn't making any headway either, she was reportedly being considered for Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan. But now, according to recent reports, that's a dead end too!

According to BollywoodLife, it was Aditya Chopra that stopped Sara from being finalised for the role. Apparently, she came down to YRF for an audition, but was rejected by producer Aditya Chopra after her audition didn't really do much for him. Even Amrita Singh was very keen to have her daughter cast in the high profile movie as it surely would've garnered her a lot of attention, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon.

The entertainment portal also reports that it was Singh who made Sara walk out on Karan Johar's SOTY 2, as she felt it would just make her one of the many star kids Karan helped launch, including Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. However, Amrita doesn't want her daughter to be just any star kid and wants her to stand out amongst the crop of newbies in the industry.
