Sam Heughan in talks to star in 'The Spy Who Dumped Me'

"Outlander" actor Sam Heughan is in negotiation to play the lead role opposite Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis in "The Spy Who Dumped Me".

McKinnon and Kunis will play best friends who unwittingly become entangled in an international conspiracy when one of the women discovers the boyfriend who dumped her actually was a spy.

The comedy will be directed by Susanna Fogel from the script she has written with David Iserson.

The fill will release in the US on July 6 next year and is being overseen by Lionsgate's Peter Kang and Geoff Shaevitz and Imagine's Erica Huggins and Julie Oh.
