REVEALED: Here's the REAL reason why Priyanka Chopra's Quantico 3 happened

There has been much talk about  why ABC’s Quantico got  another extension with Season 3. A source associated with the show tells us, “Quantico along with other serials including Agents of SHIELD, Once Upon a Time and The Goldbergs, agreed to have its license fee trimmed in a bid to cut costs. That was the main reason for its extension.

ABC has a full plate this year as apart from the above-mentioned series, as well as Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away With Murder, Scandal and Designated Survivor it has picked up eight more new dramas for the 2017-18.

Hence Quantico 3’s extension is limited to only 13 episodes. But that doesn’t undermine PC’s international fame as a reason for the extension, and a Netflix streaming deal — it has added Quantico and American Crime to its exclusive subscription streaming lineup.”
