Actor Regina King has been tapped to helm an episode in season two of hit NBC drama, "This Is Us".

It will mark a reunion for King and series creator Dan Fogelman after she previously helmed an episode of his short- lived baseball drama, "Pitch".

According to Variety, the two-time Emmy winner will helm episode 206. The episode is scheduled to begin filming next week.

King, who is currently nominated for an Emmy for her role on "American Crime", is no stranger to directing as she has logged an impressive lineup of behind-the-camera credits.

Making her episodic directorial debut on "Southland" in 2013, the actor has ABC's "Scandal" and "The Catch", BET's "Being Mary Jane", OWN's "Greenleaf" and TNT's "Animal Kingdom" in her resume.

Recently, she just finished directing an episode of Showtime's "Shameless".

"This Is Us" dropped the first look at the upcoming season two featuring Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown).

Also starring Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Ron Cephas Jones and Chris Sullivan, the upcoming season will be packed with some guest appearances. Sylvester Stallone and Debra Jo Rupp are among the confirmed guest stars.

"This Is Us" season 2 will air next month.
