Rajinikanth-Radhika Apte starrer 'Kabali' to kickstart in Chennai before heading to Malaysia

Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film Kabali will go on floors from September 17. The first schedule of the Pa Ranjith film will be in Chennai.

Post the schedule in Chennai, the crew will move to Malaysia for the next schedule and follow it up with shoots in Goa and Bangkok.

While there were reports of Rajinikanth’s look in the film being leaked, all that is known is that he will play an ageing gangster also called Kabali in the film. The director has kept the story under tight wraps so far.

Rajinikanth's look in the film is said to be salt-and-pepper since he plays a man of an age close to his own. Bollywood’s Radhika Apte is also in the film. Though there are rumours she plays his wife, it’s an unsubstantiated report at this point. Actress Dhanshikaa will play Rajinikanth’s daughter the film.
