Priyadarshan to direct 11 different ads for IPL 10

Priyadarshan will leave his stamp on the 10th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year. The filmmaker has been commissioned to direct 11 ads this season.

Priyan (as he is fondly known) is currently in Mumbai to shoot the first of those ads for the ad agency conceptualising them for an associate sponsor of the major cricketing spectacle.

Last year, the IPL had promotional videos with a strong emotional connect. This year, the theme connects family audiences with cricket lovers across India. The first ad features Paresh Rawal along with a few cricketers. The other 15-second ads will follow the same pattern, but will feature actors from several regional film industries.

IPL 10 starts April 5.
