Before Preity Zinta took off to be with her husband Gene Goodenough for US, she did some good work for some of the drought-afflicted villages around Nashik.
The actress’s charity organisation PZ Foundation constructed a well outside Nashik, in Maharashtra so that the villagers can store and save water to help fight the severe drought in the state.
Preity was involved in the minutest details of the entire construction. She now joins the league of extraordinary gentlemen Like Nana Patekar, Riteish Deshmukh and Aamir Khan who have been doing their bit for the drought-hit villages.
