'Baapugari Bomma' Pranitha Subhash is quite excited about her upcoming film, Dynamite, which is set to release on Friday. Pranitha stars with Vishnu Manchu in this film produced by Manchu himself.

Dynamite is the remake of the Tamil film Arima Nambi which has been directed by Devakatta. In an exclusive chat with dna, Pranitha Subhash reveals why this film is special.

Tell us about Dynamite.

It was wonderful working with Vishnu Manchu. Dynamite will show me in a different light to the Telugu audience. This action movie will be something new for the Telugu audience. You won’t find a separate love track or a comedy track in the film – it is one story and everything happens within that one story.

What’s your role like?

My role is important because the story revolves around this girl. She gets into some trouble and the hero helps her to get out of the situation. Unlike my earlier Telugu films, I play a modern girl from Hyderabad. She is smart and savvy. For instance, in my earlier films if I was chased by goons I would probably hide and cry. But in this film, I know how to fight back and escape! (Laughs)

Have you seen the original film Arima Nambi?

Yes, I have. But even through the storyline is the same, the Telugu film has been tweaked for the different audience by director Devakatta.

Have you done any action scenes?

I am not doing stunts but yes, I do have scenes where action is involved. In fact, during the shoot I got injured several times while enacting some scenes. But it was a good experience.
