Yes, your beloved Harry Potter might very well be the new age Voldemort in the new movie Now You See Me 2.

Daniel Radcliffe is playing Walter Mabry a tech prodigy who will exploit the Four Horsemen, J Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Jack Wilder (Dave Franco), and new member Lula (Lizzy Caplan).

The synopsis of the story reads: One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin-Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance. When the Horsemen are threatened into pulling off their most impossible heist yet, their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.

Morgan Freeman is returning as Thaddeus Bradley along with Mark Ruffalo as Dylan Rhodes and Michael Caine as Arthur Tressler.

The new trailer gives you look at mind-boggling spectacles trumping the first movie. There are death defying stunts with a twist that instead of playing someone, the Four Horsemen are being played by Radcliffe's character.

The story definitely has threads of the revenge saga Now Your See Me too had in connection with Rhodes' father Lionel Shrike. In a blink-and-you-will-miss-it shot you can see handcuffed Rhodes being dropped into the water just like the last trick his father ever did.

We will still have to wait until June 10 to know if Mabry is connected to the past of the Horsemen and the Eye and the reason behind Bradley and Tressler's return.
