Not Arjun Bijlani, it’s Naman Shaw who's replacing Sidhanth Gupta as Kunj in ‘Tashan-e-Ishq’

ZEE TV’s Tashan-e-Ishq is one of the most popular daily soaps that run today. Sidhanth Gupta who played the lead role of Kunj on Tashan-e-Ishq has quit the show. Instead, the makers have roped in another popular TV actor to replace him.

Ever since news of Sidhanth leaving the show went viral, there have been a lot of names doing the rounds. One of them was of Naagin star Arjun Bijlani. Reports claimed that he will be playing Kunj on the show from here onward. But truth is that the makers have got Naman on board for their show.

Naman seems to be quite the replacement expert now. He’s already replaced the male leads in shows like Beend Banoonga Ghodi Chadunga and Kairee. For Tashan-e-Ishq, although the makers were in talks with Arjun, it was Naman who wowed them.

As per sources, “A lot of popular actors were auditioned for the coveted role. Since Sidhant and Jasmin's jodi had gotten hugely popular, the channel and makers were on the lookout for a known actor who could carry forward the legacy of a huge fan following.”
