NEWS! Half Girlfriend director Mohit Suri to release Dr Zeus song, Bollywood-style

One more party song joins a really long list. Except this one doesn’t feature on a Bollywood soundtrack (yet!). And the ek se bhale teen principle seems to be in force here, with awardwinning music producer Dr Zeus teaming up with popular Punjabi pop singer Jasmine Sandlas (of Kick’s Yaar Na Mila fame) and rapper Ikka (of High Heels fame) for Party Nonstop, an upcoming non-film single. They feature in the music video, due to release on April 21, along with Evelyn Sharma. The track releases through EMI Records India in association with Mohit Suri.

Suri says the marketing and promotion of the song would be “akin to a Bollywood film’s song release” and added that it’s an ongoing initiative on his part to “identify talents and give them multiple opportunities, including film projects.” In fact, he admits that his Half Girlfriend will feature talents from EMI, who have “lent their voice, contributed to music production and compositions.”

He adds, “Apart from my film, these artists are doing several songs for other Bollywood films. Most of their work will be released between 2017 and 2018.”
