My relations with Yashji and Pam Chopra go far beyond a slip-of-tongue: Shatrughan Sinha

There has been some heckling in  a section of the media over Shatrughan Sinha referring to Pam Chopra as ‘Prem Chopra’ at an awards function at Yash Raj studios this week

However, the inimitable actor-politician brushes off the slip-up. “It was nothing. No one even mentioned it. Only a section of the media takes pleasure in pointing out mistakes of people in the limelight. My relations with the Chopra family run much deeper than just a name.”

Incidentally, two years ago, at the same function Shatru had made another improper slip about a proper name when he referred to Rani Mukerji as ‘Rani Chopra’.

“But that did come true, didn’t it?” he asks tongue-in-cheek.
