Veteran actor Kurt Russell had a tough time remembering the name of Chris Pratt's character while shooting for the sci-fi blockbuster "Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2".

The 66-year-old actor ended up referring to Star Lord, the nickname for Peter Quill (Pratt), as 'Star Wars', according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Well, even where I reside out past the edge of what's known, we've heard tales about the man they call Star Wars. We could be in trouble," Russell can be heard jokingly in one of the takes featured on the film's Blu-ray.

The actor then went on for another trial, in which he erred again.

"We've heard tell of the man they call Star Wars. Ugh.

Yes, Star Wars. He's all of Star Wars. We've heard of the movie Star Wars," Russell said.

Even director James Gunn called it "the weirdest thing" on Twitter.
