Kriti Sanon in a biopic on Madhubala?

At a time when biopics have started becoming a trend statement in Bollywood, most actors are opting out for the genre. While films like Paan Singh Tomar, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Mary Kom have helped the genre to find an audience base, biopics have become an interesting pick among the current crop of actors too.

Kriti Sanon too is a part of the same crowd. She giggles, “I would love to do a biopic soon. I find the concept of living someone else’s life on screen very fascinating.” Given a choice, the actress wants to play Madhubala on screen. “I have always been really intrigued by Madhubala and I would love to play her in a biopic,” she reveals.

Ask her why and she instantly answers, “She’s someone who everyone looks upto and idolizes. And she was extremely pretty (Smiles). Also, I find the story of her life extremely interesting. For biopics, you need someone’s life whose story can be told.” Filmmakers, you listening?
