Karan Johar's Students as Ram-Lakhan?

Several names have been bandied about as possible leads for Karan Johar's production of Ram Lakhan, the remake of the 1983 musical, which has Rohit Shetty attached as director. Buzz is, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan have been cast in the lead roles.

Says the source, "Karan has decided to cast Sid as the no-nonsense cop, Ram (originally played by Jackie Shroff) and Varun will play the cheeky Lakhan (played by Anil Kapoor."

Dhawan, who grew up watching Anil's comic antics in dad David's films Biwi No 1 , Deewana Mastana and Andaz is said to be super-excited about bagging the iconic role.
