Kamal Haasan has apologised for shooting a bike scene, in his upcoming film, without putting a helmet on.

In his upcoming Tamil movie, Papanasam, Kamal Haasan has shot a scene with his on screen family where he is riding a moped without wearing a helmet. The picture received flak from his fans and the star apologised for the mistake.

Haasan said that it is common sense to wear a helmet when one is stepping out on a bike. He also said that they had shot the scene some time back, but added that it was still not an excuse for the mistake, reports an English daily.

Papanasam is the Tamil remake of Malyalam hit Drishyam which is set to release on July 3. Ajay Devgn and Tabu are starring in the Hindi remake of the same name.
