JK Rowling almost gave away a spoiler about 'Fantastic Beasts 2'

Author JK Rowling has revealed an important script detail of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them sequel.

In a Twitter conversation with one of her fans, the 51- year-old writer disclosed that Newt Scamander's Patronus is a major spoiler for the second installment of the Harry Potter spin-off.

"Could you please please please tell me which animal is Newt's Patronus? Or is that a spoiler of the next movies?" asked an admirer.

To this Rowling replied, "Big spoiler."

The 2016 film, starring actor Eddie Redmayne as Newt, saw the magizoologist fight off the Obscurus, a creature similar to the Dementors.

As per Potter trivia, a wizard/witch uses the Patronus charm to defend themselves against the Dementors.
