It's official! 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat' star Siddharth Nigam in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has been renewed for a ninth season and there have been speculations about the contestants ever since it was announced. While some names have been floating in the media, here's someone who's confirmed to be a part of the show. Who? The child actor Siddharth Nigam who's slowly turned out to be TV's wonder boy, post his stint on Colors' Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. 

Talking to us, Siddharth reveals, "I have been approached for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and am mostly likely to take it up. The contract needs to be signed. That's all." The TV show he's a part of will now have a leap and he won't be there on the show anymore. "My last day of shoot is April 4 and I am very happy that Colors gave me this opportunity to showcase my talent on the show."

Mohit Raina will now be playing the lead role in the serial post the time leap. But as of now, we are happy to know that even though Siddharth's time on Ashoka is up, he will still be lighting up our screens with Jhalak!
