Is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan staying away from 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' promotions to please the Bachchans?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had taken a three year long break and returned on screen only after a hiatus. She made her comeback to Bollywood with a film like Jazbaa which didn't do anything great for her career. She immediately followed it up with a performance driven Sarbjit which again failed to get the cash registers jingling.

Now the promos of her next- Ae Dil Hai Mushkil- with Ranbir Kapoor are out and everyone's raving about her. But Ash is nowhere to be seen! That has raised a lot of eyebrows. So, what happened was that the Bachchans weren't too pleased with Aishwarya's intimate scenes with Kapoor Junior. And there are plenty in the film! 

Neither Abhishek Bachchan nor Amitabh Bachchan tweeted about the ADHM trailer despite Ash being a part of it and Karan Johar being a family friend. All this can't be mere coincidence. So now, Ash has decided to mend things in the household first. She has decided to stay away from the promotions of ADHM and do only as much needed for the film.

An industry insider tells us sarcastically, "Reports have been doing the rounds claiming that Aishwarya needs to give time to Aaradhya which is why she won't be travelling with the team. She has forgotten she travelled abroad to shoot. Also, for her previous films- Jazbaa and Sarbjit - she went all out for promotions. What suddenly happened with ADHM?"
