Indiana Jones defeats James Bond in list of greatest movie characters of all time

Indiana Jones has been voted as the greatest movie characters of all time among James Bond and Star Wars's Han Solo.

Readers of Empire magazine ranked Bond and Solo on the second and the third place respectively, whereas Sigourney Weaver's role of Ellen Ripley in Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Alien was the only female character that made to the list, behind Batman being on the fourth place, the Independent reported.

The Joker, Die Hard's John McClane, Fight Club's Tyler Durden and Darth Vader again from Star Wars were in the ascending order after Batman, whereas The Big Lebowski's The Dude was able to grab the last position.
