Actress Pallavi Sharda who will be seen in an Australian tele series "Pulse", said she wants to diversify and explore her acting capability.

Pallavi, who got critical acclaim for her portrayal of a sex worker in Vidya Balan starrer "Begum Jaan", will be playing one of the lead characters in the ABC's new medical drama series.

"With 'Pulse', I want to continue to diversify and keep expanding my abilities and horizons as an actor," Pallavi said in a statement.

The series is based on a true story created by Kris Wyld, Michael Miller and Mel Hill.

Talking about the show, the actress said, it is a riveting story that revolves around a group of young medical interns.

The production of the show is underway in Sydney.
