I have the greatest respect for Salman Khan: Elli Avram

According to recent reports, Salman Khan had hired a couple of bodyguards for Swedish actress Elli Avram. Though there have been rumours linking the two, ever since she appeared on Bigg Boss season 7, Elli has always maintained that Salman is an extremely important person and has helped her immensely. Though she continues to feel the same, she says these kind of stories are absolutely untrue. "I don't know how these rumours start. The story is absolutely fabricated. I have the greatest respect for Salmanji. I feel fortunate to have his guidance on my career. It is invaluable."

Though she does agree that Salman's guidance has helped her, she says her parents contribution to her career is also invaluable. "I have always loved Indian films and it's been a dream to work in this industry. I have been in India now for three years and am really blessed to have parents who have supported me in everything from day one. Infact, my parents gifted me the rent for my first apartment for my 23rd birthday. After that, I was lucky to do well enough to get my own place and I hope this good fortune continues," Elli says.
