After his mute act in Gomaal, Tusshar Kapoor's role in adult comedy Kya Kool Hai Hum will see him have a slight squint. The actor was required to undergo workshops to get his eye movement right as he didn't want it to look gimmicky. Ask him if he was apprehensive about taking up a role with a phycial disability once again and he quips, "I have never felt that way because I have been lucky enough to do roles across genres. In this film, my character is slightlty cock-eyed. He is not that way throughout the film but gets cock-eyed in certain situations. I play a guy who is looking for true love and how he makes a mess of certain situations. Milap (Zaveri) has written the part and it's great."

Along with workshops, he also practised on the set before the shots with his co-stars. "It won't be derogatory or offensive to anyone. Also, I don't want to ridicule anyone so it won't be in bad taste," he explains. His co-star from the previous installements, Ritesh Deshmukh opted out this time and was replaced by Aftab as he wasn't comfortable with the subject. Tusshar, however, says he will do whatever roles the audience accepts him in. "I have no qualms being a part of an adult comedy. It is a genre that everyone watches but very few accept that they enjoy it. There is double standards at play but I am accepted and liked by my audience in this genre. So why not? I am sure 30 years later, there will be remakes of adult comedies being made and then people will credit us for having started this trend."
