Director Ashutosh Gowariker is going the Sanjay Leela Bhansali way and has forbidden the use of phones on the Mohenjo Daro set to prevent leaks. The cast and crew have also been instructed that their families won't be allowed on sets. Surprisingly enough, lead actor Hrithik Roshan decided to abide by the rules as well, without being asked to.

The phone ban has been popularly and effectively used by filmmakers and director Maneesh Sharma was one of the the latest to implement it. As such, phones were confiscated at the beginning of day's shooting and were returned only at the end of filming for the day. This was a measure to ensure that pictures and spoilers did not make it to digital platforms.

Gowariker's cast and crew have followed Ashu's diktat and so as Hrithik, though he was never asked to. "Also, the director never barred Duggu's family from the sets. But the actor understood his director's predicament and led by example. "Hrithik, too did not invite his family on the sets in Bhuj. He recently took his family on a holiday and has resumed shooting in Bhuj two days back," says our source.

"Mohenjo Daro is one of his most ambitious projects and Ashu won't let anything screw his plans. He has already made plans of how to market and promote the film. He does not want the story and the stills from the sets to come out anywhere before they decide to unveil it officially," the source said.

"The only thing that people know about Mohenjo Daro is that it's a period film like most other Gowariker films and it's set in the backdrop of the Harappan civilisation. There's a huge surprise waiting for the audience," the source concluded.
