Good news for TV show 'Sasural Simar Ka' fans!

Popular Television soap Sasural Simar Ka has completed 1600 episodes. So far, the show has been faring decently but lately, reports have been doing the rounds that the TV show will soon go off air owing to its declining TRPs over the past few weeks.

As per a leading tabloid, an insider was quoted saying, "It is the right time for us to have a logical end to the story. The 20-year leap, which was recently effected, has not worked in our favour. The TRPs have also not been too impressive since long, so the decision has been taken to end it.”

However, when the lead actor of the show Dheeraj Dhoopar was contacted by BollywooLife about the same, the actor dispelled the rumours saying, "This is total rubbish. I wonder from where people get their news..."

It can't be denied that a lot of things have gone wrong with the show in recent times. From turning the protagonist Simar (Dipika Kakar) into a fly to taking a 20 year leap, the changes in the plot have failed to hold the attention of the audience.

Furthermore, the show is reportedly also affected by Avika Gor's exit. Avika played Roli on the show but she left after her contract ended. Her replacements have apparently failed to strike the right chord.

Meanwhile, the fans of Sasural Simar Ka definitely have a reason to rejoice as it is not going off air as of now!
