Emraan Hashmi goes for a steal!

Emraan Hashmi is heavily banking on his next release Mr X to pull his career from a rut. In the meantime, we hear that the actor has slashed his price for the Mohd Azharuddin biopic directed by Tony D'Souza, his next after Mr X.

Our source reveals, "After delivering a spate of flops, Emraan has slashed the price for the Azhar biopic and will take home Rs3 crore instead of his usual 11 crore. Also, at this point of time, money is not the criteria for Emraan and he is just interested in doing good work. He needs to be back in the game and he has taken a drastic pay-cut as none of his last few releases have fared well at the box-office."

In the past as well, Emraan had said that if he likes the script of a film and if his fees happen to go above and beyond the budget, he would be happy to slash his fee.
