After Chameli and Talaash, Kareena Kapoor Khan has signed on to play a sex worker once again in Rajkumar Gupta's upcoming film. She got critical acclaim for her realistic portrayal of a sex worker in Chameli and then followed it up by playing a similar character in Reema Kagti's thriller Talaash. This time, though, her role promises to be more intense and gritty. Our source reveals, "Bebo has no qualms about going de-glam if the role demands it. Ever since she heard the script of Rajkumar's film, she has been very excited about working with him. Though she plays a prostitute, it's unlike any of her other films. Her character is shown to be suffering from schizophrenia, someone with an unsound mind. The psychological thriller deals with Section 84 in the Indian Penal Code – which says that nothing that a person with an unsound mind does amounts to being an offence. It is an author-backed role and is loosely inspired by real life incidents."

Bebo's other roles
Kareena played a social worker in Punit Malhotra's Gori Tere Pyaar Mein where she was paired opposite Imran Khan.

In the Akshay Kumar starrer, Kareena played Akki's wife. Though she is killed before the film begins, she played a pivotal role.

In Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab, which deals with the drug mafia in the North, Kareena will be seen playing a doctor's role. She plays a doctor for the third time after Kambakkht Ishq and Kyon ki.. She also played a medical student in 3 Idiots.
