Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson praises Shazam as a 'fun' movie

After winning hearts of fans, with his electrifying performances, both in WWE as well as Hollywood, Dwayne Johnson has come out in support of DC Entertainment's soon to be launched movie, Shazam, terming it as a 'fun'.

Johnson has also confirmed that Shazam will have a story line outside the DC and Justice League universe, and predicts it to be a sleeper hit.

The role to be reprised by Johnson is that of Black Adam, a monstrous supervillian, who will battle the hero, Shazam (Captain Marvel).

Production moguls, Warner Brothers, have an assembly line of superhero flicks, scheduled to release in the upcoming year or so, with the studio house confirming that Shazam will be different from the Batman Vs Superman and Justice League movies.

New Line studios have been entrusted the responsibility to oversee DC Comics movies, away from the Justice League franchise.

Shazam, which is New Line's latest in a stable of standalone DC movies, will release on April 5th 2019.
