Did Sujoy Ghosh approach Katrina Kaif for his next?

Ever since Sujoy Ghosh decided to make a film called Durga Rani, things have not been falling in place at all. First, Vidya Balan walked out of the project citing health issues. In came Kangana Ranaut who also dropped out of the film citing date issues. Now, if reports are to be believed, Sujoy has allegedly approached Katrina Kaif with the role.

The movie, which is based on the Japanese novel titled 'The Devolution of Suspect X' revolves around a single mother who accidentally kills her own husband. Known to make spine chilling thrillers like Kahaani, Ghosh is all geared up for the film. 

Katrina Kaif, who has already heard the script seems to have loved it and if all goes well, she might as well get on board. Whether Katrina will take up the role or will she also follow the Vidya-Kangana route is all that needs to be seen!
