Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone in one film!. This was supposed to be the casting coup of the year. But now with Miss Padukone opting out of the film citing date issues and getting replaced by Anushka Sharma, rumour mills are abuzz with Katrina being the reason behind it.

 But is it true?

Katrina strongly reacted to these rumours in an interview to a leading daily. She said, "I don’t think any actor in today’s day and age is going around putting stipulations on their director. I am not comfortable talking about or having discussions on any film. I would rather like to give the directors their professional space to sort out or go through this process."

She didn't even confirm whether she's doing the film or not. "With every film, comes a speculative story announcement! That’s the one aspect of my life I never play around with because that is my work at the end of the day, and a place where one must behave in an absolutely professional manner and till the time it’s confirmed and signed, I don’t believe it’s right to discuss or talk about it. Every actor and director should have that comfort of being able to go through that process in a professional manner without added eyes on the project."

Katrina and Deepika have a history and cold war of sorts because of Ranbir Kapoor. But recently, the two were spotted warming up to each other at Karan Johar's birthday bash. Also, we hear SRK too called them together and had a meeting where he made sure that things were cordial. Guess, it's for happier times ahead.
