Did Karan Johar just call Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra Alia Bhatt's chachus?

Karan Johar is always gushing about his three proteges Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. But now, with his kids Yash and Roohi, in the house, the happy father is smiling all the more.

But we guess he didn't realise making a big blooper of a statement recently. In an interview, while talking about fatherhood, he spoke about his fondness for Alia.

He said, "Their roles have been designated -Varun and Sidharth are their chachus and Alia is their didi. Well, Alia was always the daughter, she is the first-born in that sense. The kids have to call her didi. She drops in often to see them and I really want them all to have a special bond. I want my kids to know that they have family even if they are not biologically related."

Well, that also makes Sid and Varun Alia's chachus as well. And that's absolutely bizarre. Did you guys find it to be as weird as we did?
